How much do wedding flowers usually cost?
In Rochester, NY a typical flower budget is around $3500-5000, however a good rule of thumb for many brides is a budget that is around 8-10% of your total budget. You can plan for at least $250 for a bridal bouquet minimum and about $100-120 per bridesmaid. If you are looking to save money on flowers, take a look at our blog for ways to save on wedding flowers. We do not have a minimum, and we do offer a la carte flowers as well as floral pick up.
-
Do you have a minimum charge per project?
We do not have a minimum. Our full service packages start at $5,000, however we offer a la carte with no minimum and full/ half day floral service as an add on, as well as flower pick up. No matter what please contact me, and don’t think your budget is too small. I’m very upfront about my pricing and what I can and cannot accomplish within your floral budget.

How far out are you booking?
Wedding season in our area is from May to October with the busiest months being June, August, September and October. If you plan to get married in one of these months you should try to book your date a year in advance. I am already booking up 2026 and 2027. Please contact me to save your date as soon as possible.
-
How do I save my wedding date with you so someone else doesn't get it?
You can put down a deposit on the date of your wedding as soon as possible by visiting our shop page and selection the wedding deposit form. You can also message me to see if I have your date open, and when I confirm you can put down your deposit. Saving your date is done with a simple $250 deposit which goes directly towards your wedding flowers.
-
How close to my wedding do we meet?
It all depends on the bride. We will have an initial consult on the phone, virtually or in person. Then after that, some brides don’t want to meet at all, however most brides like to meet about 3-6 months before their wedding date. This can even be a simple zoom meeting to accommodate your lifestyle. ( I know planning a wedding is a stressful time and there is a lot to fit in.) But, we do prefer to have an in-person ‘come and see the farm’ date. This way we get to know each other more, and you get to meet your flowers in person.
-
Do you do silk flowers?
I do not do silk flowers. Although I can, I prefer to work with my own locally grown flowers from my flower farm. Silk flowers take totally different mechanics than fresh cut flowers, and quite simply are just not that fun for me.
-
Do you do baby showers, bridal showers, or engagement parties?
I am available for baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties and other parties. I also stock for flowers bars, and do have a flower bar available for rent. I do funerals on request, bouquets ready for pick up, as well as elopements. Please contact me directly to see if I can accommodate your events.

What are your favorite flowers?
This is a tough question! I love all flowers but I have been truly in love with Iris’ all my life, and my second love would be dahlias simply because there are so many varieties….like Pokemon- I want to catch them all.
-
I see the photos on your site are a little bit moody- do you do light and airy flowers as well?
Yes! Of course I do a bunch of different styles and flavors of florals. I can do more light and airy country style loose florals, and I can also do more tight (ball) type florals. Please take a look at my Instagram for more varieties of styles I do, you’ll see a little of this and a little of that. My style is more of a feeling really than even a style.
